Music is one of the best ways to create vibes and good feelings
in our lives, and we’ve packaged together seven tracks full of diverse messages
and great reggae artists, all playing a great role in collaborating with Daily
Ites to make this project come together. Plant A Seed Riddim is a collection of
soothing joints capable of making anybody's day more pleasant. Presented by
Daily Ites Productions, this project should make for a fantastic fit into
anyones day. .
Soldier, by Chuck
Fenda is the opening song, and takes on a classic reggae motif, the spirit of
the soldier. With smooth, knocker production and heavy underlying grooves, this
cut has us grooving to Chuck’s heavy vibes. The line “What’s going on what’s
happening out here” paints a picture of confusion and a need for someone to
soldier through the storm, making for a perfect first track.
Leaders and Joy are the two next songs and they play
into this project fantastically. Leaders by
Owen Knibbs featuring CJ Joe is righteous, rebellious, and brings real issues
to the listener’s conscious, asking “Where are the leaders?” Joy by Phorien celebrates the goodness
in life, and the production by DailyItes begins to show its versatility.
Phorien himself is an excellent vocalist, and his lyrics have us reminiscing of
good times and a brighter, more solitude future.
The lyrics “Slew dem bad vibes in da morning, slew dem bad
vibes in da evening” on the song Slew Dem
is an excellent example of how this project can fit into any part of your day,
and the vibes that Rueben Inie brings forth in this song feel unique from the
rest of the tracks. The track that follows, Good
Vibes, continues the good vibe theory that this project is all about, and
Mykal Daley’s vocal melody plays so nicely with the bright and tranquil production.
Plant a Seed by Madi
Simmons is the essential pairing of lyrical inspiration and funky production to
spread the idea of planting seeds. The ideas of strength and unity are powerful
in this song, and if you are looking to pull inspiration from this project, at
the very least this song should give you the perspective of how planting seeds
can help Earth and humanity, and this project is a seed of influence and
creativity in itself.
Fhiyashua closes out the songs on this project with Life is the Greatest, which is a
downright banger of happiness and otherworldly vocals. The autotune utilized by
Fiyashua blends the project with some of our favorite sounds of other genres,
though autotune is not new or uncommon for reggae nowadays. Chanting “Life is the
greatest”, this is a song you’re gonna want to put on repeat.
At the very end is the Plant
a seed Riddim Instrumental that essentially is the backbone of each track.
Overall this project includes seven songs which are all fantastic and unique
adaptations of the groovy and euphoric Plant
a Seed production by DailyItes. If you’re interested in this project or
just want to support DailyItes productions, you can purchase it for the
worthwhile price of $7.99.
